# DAO Governance Token ($KITTY):

MetaKitties platform will be governed by a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO).\

Voting and governance practices will be gradually implemented alongside economic decisions that affect the game’s treasury.

The $KITTY token will not be sold, but farmed by early holders of the $MEOW token.\
\
The $KITTY token can be staked in the game’s treasury for users to vote and gain $KITTY rewards for their participation. Staking $KITTY also affects how valuable players' assets become (for example, staking $KITTY increases the chance of a player’s stadium to host a game).\
\
Holding $KITTY gives you early access to NFT drops and land (stadium) sales.\
\
$KITTY is a fixed supply token, which will gradually release over five years
